Mr. Falah El-Haddawi

FRCS(Ed), FRACS

Mr Falah El-Haddawi is a General Surgeon based in New Plymouth - New Zealand, who has previously worked in Auckland, Wellington, and Australia. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS), and a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh (FRCS-Ed).

Mr Haddawi performs a wide range of surgical procedures. His subspecialties are Breast and Endocrine Surgery, attained from the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in 2011. He trained in Level 1 and Level 2 Onco-Plastic Breast Surgery courses throughout 2017. Additionally, Mr Haddawi won the G.B. Ong gold medal from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (2002).

Mr Haddawi consults out of Taranaki Base Hospital and Mana Clinic. He operates out of Taranaki Base Hospital, Southern Cross New Plymouth and Mana Clinic. 

In addition to his clinical work, Mr Haddawi is an keen teacher at Taranaki Base Hospital, supervising surgical trainees. He is also an Honorary Lecturer at University of Auckland, where he supervises the final year medical students during their surgical attachment at Taranaki Base Hospital. Mr Haddawi has delivered lectures around the country.
